Owner - General Manager
Dan Deyle bought the company in 2020 after 24 years of working for Michael Grimm Services. He majored in Arboriculture at Paul Smith’s College of the Adirondacks, graduating with an A.A.S. in Arboriculture in 1993. Dan started to learn the business from the bottom up, working for Monroe Tree Service until 1997. Dan hired on with Michael Grimm Services as a climber/foreman in the spring of 1997. Dan became an ISA Certified Arborist in 2000, and a Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional in 2004. In 2005, Dan took over the management of the Tree Department, where both customer service and customer satisfaction were his main goals. He enjoys spending time outdoors exploring with his dogs and thinking up fabrication projects.

Landscape
Chris has been in the landscape industry for 28 years. He has spent the last 18 years with Michael Grimm Services. Chris spent three years mowing before taking over the Lawn Care Department. He has spent the last 15 years as a D.E.C Licenced Pesticide Applicator. He has a passion for green weed-free lawns. Chris enjoys Buffalo Bills FootBall and spending time with his wife and kids.
Production Manager
Zach attended SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry at Ranger School and graduated in 2017. Continuing his education on SUNY ESF’s main campus until joining us in 2019 to work in the Plant Health Care Department. Since his beginning here he has worked his way up to becoming the manager of the Plant Health Care Department. His passion for arboriculture and horticulture has allowed him to help home owners improve and maintain the health of their landscape plants and trees. Zach has his NYS DEC pesticide applicator license, is a certified Arborist by the ISA, is a Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional, completed the Electrical Hazards and Awareness Program and is certified in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED. He strives to create thorough Integrated Pest Management programs for homeowners to meet their goals and improve their plant’s health. He takes great pride in seeing the recovery of plants and the joy it brings the clients. He enjoys going for walks, hiking through the woods, going to concerts, playing drums and bass.

Gardening Production Manager
Kayla is a SUNY Morrisville graduate, she has 2 associates degrees, one in Environmental and Natural Resource Conservation and the other in Horticulture Production. Joining us in 2021, and has worked in almost every department within the company. She currently works in our gardening department, but will occasionally be seen in helping other teams here. She has a New York State DEC pesticide category 3a license, International Society of Arborist Certification, Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional Certification and Electrical Hazards Awareness Program. She enjoys learning everything she can about the world surrounding us, and spends her free time in New York State parks.

Johnny Schrader started with Michael Grimm Services Inc in 2000 after studying at Morrisville, he has been involved in every aspect of the business, his positive can do attitude is always welcome where ever he goes. When he isn’t running quality control he can be found in the woods or lakes with his daughter enjoying the outdoors.
